Everything is working fine except sometimes after the computer is not used such as overnite, when I try to move the mouse the screen stays black. I have to push the button on the monitor to refresh it. Is there anything I could do to fix it?
Thanks,
Randy Hauder
Hey Randy,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us feedback! The issue you're having sounds like the monitor is not waking up properly after going to sleep. To make sure I'm understanding properly: Once the monitor goes black, you must turn the monitor OFF and then BACK ON to get the screen to display, as opposed to simply moving your mouse / pushing any key on the keyboard?
If I described the issue right, the problem may be with the monitor. One solution would be to set the computers settings to not let the monitor go to sleep. Do you typically turn this desktop off at night? If so, I think this would be a good solution.
I came over and changed some settings on your system. That should fix the problem. If you still have any problems, give us a call and we will get it taken care of.
