Accessing the Billing Menu

  1. You can access the Billing features beneath the "Billing" menu.
  2. If you do not see the Billing menu, ensure you have enabled Billing under Settings.
  3. If you still do not see the Billing menu, ensure it is enabled for your user under Agent Permissions.
     

 

Billing Menu Features

BILLING > SETTINGS

This allows you to build invoice descriptions using placeholder tags. 

BILLING > BILLING QUEUE

This page allows you to search for tickets using various criteria and invoice then generate invoices in your billing system of choice. (Freshbooks or Quickbooks Online)

BILLING > ORGANIZATION PRESETS

Organization Presets allow you to assign specific invoice settings based upon the Zendesk Organization. (i.e. Clients with minimum billable charges vs. no minimums.)

 

Billing Status Menu in Tymeshift Zendesk App

This menu allows you to specify the Billing Status of any ticket. Just click the drop down menu and select the appropriate billing status. When time is invoiced, the status will be automatically changed to BILLED.
